Laxmi grew up in Henley-on-Thames, Oxford, before moving to London to study Economics at University College London. She began her career in asset management with Invesco, before entering investment banking at Perella Weinberg Partners. She covered M&A execution and strategic advisory in the UK team, before pivoting into TMT and Infrastructure, during which she took a secondment in Paris.
Working in a lean, entrepreneurial boutique environment sparked her interest in AI implementations, particularly given its potential to transform deal execution. At Model ML, Laxmi now partners with investment banking clients across London, Paris, and Hong Kong, and is passionate about transforming complex workflows into immediate ROI for deal teams.
