Brenda was born in Houston, Texas, but she considers herself a Californian after moving there in sixth grade. She started her career in San Francisco in tech investment banking before moving into growth investing, and later earned her MBA at Harvard Business School.
After finishing her summer internship at a startup, she saw the value of being in an environment where speed, ownership, and judgment mattered every day.
At Model ML, Brenda gets to learn a new industry from the inside while building technology that transforms how financial teams work.
What do you enjoy the most about working at Model ML?
I love working closely with clients to understand their real pain points and helping translate those insights into product adoption. Being able to spend time thinking deeply about how we can best support customers is one of the most rewarding parts of my role!
What’s your favourite use case?
Notetaker is an easy one given how many calls I do but another great one is our ability to extract structured data from large, complex documents and seamlessly incorporate it into analysis.
What’s your favourite AI tool?
Superhuman. I’ve always struggled with email overload, and it has completely changed how I manage my inbox.
