The LCap Group, an advisory firm focused on leadership and human capital in private markets, has partnered with Model ML, the leading AI workflow builder for finance, to introduce AI-led workflows across parts of its delivery model.

The initial focus has been on streamlining the production of Leadership Dynamics reports. By automating repeatable elements of analysis and formatting, the team has been able to reduce turnaround times while maintaining the level of detail required in board and investor settings.

Model ML’s Notetaker is also now in use across client interactions. Meeting outputs are captured and structured in real time, allowing information to move more quickly into analysis and reducing reliance on manual notetaking and follow-up.

"Our team's time is best spent in conversation with clients and management, rather than formatting reports," said Samuel Robberts, Chief Strategy Officer at The LCap Group. "Model ML has fundamentally shifted that balance."

"The firms we love working with are rigorous about where AI adds value and where it doesn't," said Chaz Englander, CEO and Co-Founder of Model ML. "The LCap Group's edge is in their judgement and relationships, and they've been uncompromising about making sure that's exactly where their team spends their time."

Model ML has been implemented with a clear boundary between automation and advisory. The focus has been on supporting consistency and speed in repeatable tasks, while keeping interpretation and decision-making firmly with the consulting team.

Following the initial rollout, The LCap Group is extending Model ML into additional workflows and analytical outputs as part of a broader shift towards a more efficient, data-supported operating model.
