You’ll be joining two repeat founders who previously built and exited two Y Combinator-backed companies. We’ve raised an eight-figure round from top-tier investors including Y Combinator and have live production deployments at some of the world’s most respected financial institutions. With offices in London, New York, and Hong Kong, we’re building the category-defining enterprise AI platform.
The future we’re building is one where your entire digital workflow—emails, meetings, research, documents, data analysis—is intelligently managed by an AI model that’s deeply personalised to you. At Model ML, you don’t use software—you collaborate with it.
The Role:
We’re looking for a world-class Brand Designer to define and scale the design function from the ground up. You’ll work directly with the founders to shape visual identity, communications, and user experience. This is a hands-on, high-impact role for someone who loves ambiguity, thrives on ownership, and wants to build a brand for a cutting-edge AI company from scratch.
What You’ll Be Responsible For:
Build and evolve Model ML’s visual identity, ensuring every screen, slide, and asset reflects our ambition.
Lead concept development, storyboarding, shooting, and editing for digital-first content.
Create eye-catching static social content—banners, carousels, and thumbnails.
Design and animate motion graphics that bring our brand and campaigns to life.
Translate complex ideas into clear, engaging visual stories across formats (sizzle reels, teasers, product explainers).
Collaborate with marketing, sales, and product design teams to ensure the brand’s visual identity is consistent and compelling across every touchpoint.
Oversee post-production (editing, sound, colour, captioning) while maintaining a high bar for craft.
Experiment with emerging creative and AI tools to enhance workflows and push our content forward.
Set up design operations and standards that can scale with the company.
What You Can Expect:
You’ll be building from zero—no templates, no red tape.
You’ll collaborate directly with the CEO, Marketing Lead, and Sales team, influencing brand and visual identity at the highest level.
Priorities will shift. Deadlines will tighten. You’ll be uncomfortable—but constantly learning.
It will be the most creatively and intellectually demanding work of your career.
What We’re Looking For:
3–5 years of experience in graphic design, motion design, video editing, and/or content creation in B2B Tech/AI/Financial Services space preferred (agency or in-house creative team a plus).
Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, with a solid understanding of video editing and social content tools, including platforms and workflows commonly used in motion and video production.
Strong portfolio demonstrating your graphic design, motion design, static content, and video production range, with an eye for design, pacing, and storytelling.
Proven ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Experience using (and interest in experimenting with) generative AI tools in creative production.
Ability to translate complex ideas into clear, engaging visuals across formats.
A thoughtful, opinionated design aesthetic—but open to iteration and feedback.
Excellent communication and storytelling skills—you’ll be the steward of brand and visual design at Model ML.
