Intrepid Growth Partners today announced a firmwide deployment of Model ML, adopting the platform to support AI-driven workflows across its investment process. The rollout reflects Intrepid’s focus on combining disciplined investing with modern technology to improve speed, depth of analysis, and execution quality across the firm.

Through Model ML, Intrepid teams are leveraging AI-powered workflows for investment committee memo creation, large-scale document analysis and data extraction, and rapid sector research. The platform enables deal teams to move efficiently through complex workflows while maintaining the analytical standards required for high-conviction investing.

“AI adoption in investment firms has to be practical and grounded in real workflows,” said Chaz Englander, CEO and Co-Founder of Model ML. “We’re excited to work with a team that is thoughtfully integrating AI into how they evaluate opportunities and make decisions.”

The initiative was led by Mark Machin, Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Intrepid Growth Partners. Mark previously served as President and Chief Executive Officer of CPP Investments and, earlier, as Asia ex-Japan Head of Investment Banking and Vice Chairman at Goldman Sachs. His decision to adopt Model ML reflects a growing shift among experienced investment leaders toward embedding AI directly into core investment processes rather than treating it as a standalone tool.

“At Intrepid, our focus has always been on strengthening the quality and consistency of our investment process,” said Mark Machin, Co-Founder and Managing Partner at Intrepid Growth Partners. “Model ML allows our team to process information more efficiently, go deeper in our analysis, and spend more time on judgment and value creation.”

As part of the rollout, Model ML is being embedded across multiple stages of Intrepid’s investment lifecycle, enabling teams to move from information gathering to insight generation more quickly while maintaining a consistent, repeatable approach to analysis.
