Eli grew up in New York City and began his career in FinTech at FactSet before joining Evercore as an investment banker. Seeing firsthand how much time financial teams spend on deal execution, research, and diligence, he became focused on how technology could fundamentally reshape how financial institutions operate.
During his MBA at the University of Cambridge, Eli followed Model ML’s early work building institutional-grade AI for finance and was drawn to the company’s vision. Shortly after graduating, he joined the team to help scale adoption across leading banks, private equity firms, and asset managers.
Having traveled to 31 countries, Eli brings a global perspective to his work. Today, he leads GTM at Model ML, partnering with clients and product teams across London, New York, and Hong Kong to drive intelligent automation across financial workflows. For him, the appeal was simple: work with exceptional people, move fast, and redefine how finance gets done.
What do you enjoy the most about working at Model ML?
The people. We are 6/7 days a week in the office. We recruit hungry, humble, and smart people who understand work ethic is just the starting point in creating real value in the world.
What’s your favourite use case?
Completely bespoke, fully formatted Powerpoint presentation & Word document creation.
What’s your favourite AI tool?
Suno.ai. It's great at making study music to match exactly what you’re in the mood for. The way they process and implement natural language to generate net new music is really cool. We can apply learnings for various exercises in financial services.
What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
5 pillars to my life outside of work: Family, Friends, Adventure Travel, Food and Gym. I love to ski, scuba dive, and dabble in polo.
